We’re proud to give you details on the latest features in this year’s Autumn release (v7.19) of Ibcos Gold:

Customer Order Number – Point of Sale/Workshop

As a result of multiple customer requests we have increased the customer order number field length. The reason for this change is that some customers, particularly councils, require their full order number to be included for invoice payment and are longer than the original field in Gold.

The field length has been increased from 10 to 20 characters. 16 characters can be printed on standard Gold invoices and all 20 can be viewed in invoice recall. Using the designer invoices all 20 characters can be printed.

Important Note: Due to the extending of the customer order number field, the update will take longer than usual as a number of files need to be rebuilt. It is recommended to allow up to 25 minutes per live company. Only live companies will be updated initially to save time. Copy companies (marked as Test or Archive) can be updated manually at a later convenient time.

We recommend to allow approximately 25 minutes per live company for the file update plus an additional 25 minutes if the Data Sync for Gold Service is in use.
 

Stock Enquiry

With the system set to “View Depots as a List”, additional fields have been added to the screen for Suggested Order Quantity and Average Price.

In Classic Gold these fields appear on the far right of the fields (accessed using the right arrow key).
In Windows Gold, users can move or remove these fields to reorder the screen as required.

Serial Number Enquiry

In Windows Gold only, when using the advanced lists, additional columns have been added to the Serial Number Enquiry lookup to show the part Serial Number, Batch and Line Number.

This then allows easy searching by full or partial serial number.
