With 2024 coming to an end, we wanted to look back on some of the exciting releases of new products and features and highlight business developments for 2025.
New Products and Features
Gold Modernisation
We have been heavily investing in creating the next generation of Gold. Gold is built on decades of experience and customer feedback, it’s size and complexity demanded considerable effort to plan and create a new modern framework and introduce a new relational database. With these investments, we can migrate the software modules you use on a day-to-day basis to a new browser-based technology. Stay tuned for more developments in the new year.
Workshop Scheduler
This year we have delivered the modernised Workshop Scheduler as a browser-based module and incorporated a new Job Creation screen which provides an intuitive workflow. Changes were delivered iteratively, in 3 phases, taking on customer feedback throughout each step of the way. Switch over to Workshop Scheduler before Windows Scheduler comes to an end in June 2025.
New Products
Our teams continue to work hard to deliver solutions to improve business efficiency and provide time saving solutions. These include a new Cloud based Gold Payroll solution, Gold eSign for capturing electronic signatures on documents and Customer Connect to enable your customers to view, print and download their invoices.
Manufacturer Integrations
We continue to work closely with manufacturers to develop new and enhance existing integrations to support your business processes. Our Manufacturer Hub features the integrations that we have on offer.
- Working in partnership with AGCO our AGCO Plus+ integration offers a revolving line of credit for aftersales purchases. In the pipeline is AGCO Aftersales Inventory Management (AIM) which produces intelligent stock orders for multiple suppliers.
- This year we successfully completed the CNH Warranty Attestation testing process in collaboration with CNH and their auditors Deloitte. This accreditation marks a significant advancement for Ibcos, as it signifies our adherence to rigorous standards set by CNH. This positions us to facilitate smoother warranty claims processes for CNH dealers. With our mutual goal towards creating continuous integration improvements, we have also become a preferred CNH Supplier.
- In collaboration with John Deere we have made enhancements to John Deere eCommerce to fully automate processes such as Stock Allocation. We also launched PoPS/ELIPS to bring service opportunities to dealers attention and the Workshop Efficiency Tracker to identify areas of improvement, efficiency savings and training requirements. We continued to support John Deere with their strategic projects and integrated their Parts Modern system with Gold eBilling and worked with them to improve their API security
- Updates to CLAAS Parts Inventory Management (PIM) such as allowing for wholegood serial numbers to be added to the Transactional Demand file, has enhanced the use of the integration. Dealers can also look forward to CLAAS Service Office PRO, an integration aimed to improve workshop efficiency and effectiveness.
- Our Job Request Portal integration is a proactive way for workshop administrators and managers to create workshops jobs. In addition to JCB and John Deere, this year we have worked with Manitou to offer this integration for their dealers. A number of additional improvements have also been made to benefit all 3 manufacturers.
- Working closely with JCB, improvements have been made to the LiveLink Portal this year to further enhance user experience. The manufacturer hub also showcases the wide range of JCB integrations we have on offer.
