We’re happy to let you know that between April and June of 2019, we hired four new people to help us grow and improve in the coming months.
Say hello to:
Tamra Ford, our new Initiatives Analyst
Tamra Ford joined our Product team on 29th April as an Initiatives Analyst.
She has a wealth of experience in software project management, solutions delivery and client services. Having managed large projects for global financial institutions, her strong commercial background will allow us to come up with amazing product initiatives down the road.
Tamra will be based in our Poole office, but she will also be taking time to get out on a regular basis to meet our customers, so that she can bring back new ideas and turn them into potential Initiatives projects. After that, she will oversee these initiatives – from idea to implementation and beyond.
The big benefit here is that our Product team will be able to match our customers’ needs and expectations even more closely.
Thomas Dinham, our new Software Developer
On 3rd June, Thomas Dinham joined one of our Research & Development (R&D) teams – specifically, Team Tesla, led by Dan Maple. He will be our new Software Developer.
Thomas is fresh out of university, where he has been studying Computer Game Development. We are excited to have Thomas start his career with us and look forward to mentoring him in both software development and our industry. We are sure that he’ll make a great addition to Team Tesla.
Alison Williams, our new Sales Support Specialist
Alison Williams joined us on 3rd June as well – except that she’ll be a member of our Sales team, as a new Sales Support Specialist
Alison has worked in various companies in the banking and transport sectors, occupying positions in sales, administration and HR. She is also qualified to teach English as a second language.
In her spare time, Alison loves to run – from five-kilometre to marathon distances. She will report directly to James Buchanan, our Sales Director.
Charlotte Woolgar, our new Support Call Handler
On 17th June, Charlotte Woolgar is joining our Support team as a Support Call Handler.
She has served in various care and support roles over the course of her career, working primarily with people with learning disabilities. Charlotte has also travelled to Alaska and Florida to work in the US as part of a delayed gap year.
In addition, she has been studying IT support and coding basics, keen to follow in the footsteps of her father – a network engineer – and enter the IT industry.
Please join us in welcoming all four of these very talented and smart individuals to the Ibcos team!
