We are proud to announce the newest addition to our Consultancy team – Chip Plowman, who joined us as a Training Consultant in December of 2017.
Prior to his role with us, Chip was busy working at a technical training company, where he delivered courses in the applications developed by Atlassian, such as JIRA and Confluence. Throughout his career, he has also held several supervising and engineering roles at a variety of organisations. On the side, he runs his own property development business called Winstongrade Homes.
Operating from our office in Poole, Chip has already been out onsite, having assisted a new customer with their training and software setup. With a full year still ahead, we’re sure he’ll have plenty more experiences like this one!
“Training is a passion of mine,” said Chip Plowman. “I’m really looking forward to getting up to speed as quickly as possible to be able to help our customers get the most out of the system, and to generally make their lives easier. I’m used to working for big corporations, so it’s a nice change to be working for more of a family-feeling company, with the same professional ethos.”
When not teaching, Chip helps run MCM Comic Con events – entertainment conventions attended by actors from popular films and TV programmes. He is also big on cosplay, or “Costume Play,” which involves dressing up as characters from films, TV programmes, comic books and video games. This is particularly rewarding when he gets to visit children’s hospitals where he helps sick children take their mind off their problems.
When not doing any of that, Chip enjoys running around army bases playing airsoft, which is essentially paintball, but with guns that look real.
