In 2017 BT Group announced that PSTN and ISDN services would be switched off by the end of 2025. Analogue is being fully replaced by a Digital service much like the transition from Analogue to Digital Television a few years ago.
BT Business advises all customers to secure their move to a digital service by the end of 2025. The switch off deadline has been extended to 2026 but phone exchanges may be turned off earlier with only 60 days’ notice. Alternative connection options such as SOGEA and FTTP are available now, depending on your area.
Customers with existing connections, provided by our partner Zen, have been contacted by our sales team over the last few months. We encourage you to secure your move well in advance of the deadline to avoid a potential backlog in the availability to switch solutions.
